FUERA DE COMPETENCIA

La Unión de Festivales Internacionales de Cine, UNIFEST, es una organización encargada de unir lazos entre festivales cinematográficos, creando vínculos entre los diversos festivales de la República Mexicana y de otros países, con el fin de difundir, promover y distribuir los trabajos audiovisuales ganadores de cada uno de los festivales que se integren a esta organización.

• TERRA | ANDREA HERNÁNDEZ | GUADALAJARA, JALISCO, MÉXICO | 2024

Narra la historia de Noa Tovar, un artista profundamente frustrado cuya autoexigencia y perfeccionismo lo han dejado sin inspiración. Decidido a encontrar una nueva fuente de creatividad, Noa se embarca en una aventura hacia el campo, buscando en la naturaleza la chispa que ha perdido. A través de paisajes serenos y encuentros inesperados, Noa descubre que la verdadera inspiración puede estar más cerca de lo que imagina.

Después de ser deportado de los Estados Unidos, el actor Andúl Zambrano obtiene un papel en una película mexicana de clase B llamada “Una bala para siete”, junto a los actores Guillermo Quintanilla, Hugo Stiglitz, Valentín Trujillo Jr., Raúl González, Fernando Banda y "El Pirata Morgan". Su relación con los actores detrás de cámaras resulta ser algo inesperada. Sin embargo, la producción resulta ser una catarsis para la decepción en su vida profesional y personal.

Ambientada en Karachi, Pakistán, una niña pequeña conoce a un pájaro mágico en un camión tradicionalmente pintado. La niña se embarca en una emocionante aventura al entrar en el mundo pintado y explorar toda la alegría que este nuevo mundo le puede ofrecer.

Después de fallecer por un ataque al corazón debido a sus deudas de crédito, Aurelio se niega a abandonar a su madre y continúa dirigiendo su ferretería a pesar de estar muerto.

The Union of International Film Festivals, UNIFEST, is an organization dedicated to strengthening ties between film festivals, building connections among various festivals across Mexico and other countries. Its goal is to showcase, promote, and distribute the award-winning audiovisual works from each of the festivals that are part of this network.

It tells the story of Noa Tovar, a deeply frustrated artist whose self-demand and perfectionism have left him uninspired. Determined to find a new source of creativity, Noa embarks on a journey to the countryside, seeking in nature the spark he has lost. Through serene landscapes and unexpected encounters, Noa discovers that true inspiration may be closer than he imagines.

After being deported from the United States actor Andúl Zambrano lands a role in a Mexican B-movie called "A bullet for seven", with the actors -Guillermo Quintanilla, Hugo Stiglitz, Valentín Trujillo Jr., Raúl González, Fernando Banda and "El Pirata Morgan". His relationship with the actors behind the scenes turns out to be somewhat unexpected. However, the production results cathartic for the disappointment with his professional and personal life.
